Sydney Opera House

Visiting the Sydney Opera House I’ve always dreamed of visiting the Sydney Opera House, one of the world’s most famous landmarks. When I finally got the chance, I was amazed by its unique shell-like design, sitting proudly on the harbour surrounded by water. Getting There Getting to the Opera House is easy. I took a train to Circular Quay, which is just a short 6-minute walk away. There are also buses and ferries that stop nearby, so you have plenty of options. If you have mobility needs, there’s even a shuttle bus that takes visitors from Circular Quay to the forecourt. Touring the Opera House I decided to join a Guided Walking Tour, which lasts about an hour. It was fascinating to see areas normally closed to the public and hear the story behind the building’s design. Tours run every day until 5 pm, and the ticket costs around £24 per person. Learning about how the Danish architect Jørn Utzon designed this iconic building really made me appreciate the vision and creativity behind...

Haigh’s Chocolates from Queen Victoria Building

I recommend Haigh’s Chocolates at the Queen Victoria Building because it is a very famous Australian chocolate shop. It makes fresh, high-quality chocolates that are perfect to eat while visiting or to take home as gifts. The shop is on the ground floor of the QVB, so it is easy to find while you are walking around this beautiful and historic building. Inside, you can see a lot of chocolate products, like chocolate boxes, chocolate bars, pralines and special gifts for holidays or birthdays. The shop is a nice place to stop and enjoy a sweet treat, and it is popular with both tourists and locals. If you want to visit their website, here is the link: https://www.qvb.com.au/stores/haighs-chocolates.

My First Blog Entry – Discovering Sydney!

Imagen
The first place I would like to visit is definitely the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I’ve always been impressed by its huge steel structure and amazing views of the harbour. It’s also fascinating how it has become one of the main symbols of Australia. I also know some other famous places in Sydney, like the Sydney Opera House, Taronga Zoo, and Bondi Beach, which are all must-see attractions. I’ve never been to Australia myself, but a friend of mine visited Sydney last year and said it was one of the most beautiful and welcoming cities she’s ever seen. I would really love to visit Sydney in the future because it’s a city full of life, culture, and natural beauty. It would be amazing to walk across the Harbour Bridge, see the fireworks on New Year’s Eve, and enjoy the sunny beaches.
